Today, we’re excited to share the story of Buko, a one-year-old male Doberman Pinscher with a heart of gold and a journey that’s just beginning.
Buko has been under the care of Bitter Root Humane Association since late September, after living with three different families. His life so far has been somewhat unsettled, but we know that the right family is out there for him.
A Diamond in the Rough
While Buko hasn’t had the benefit of formal training in his short life, there’s an incredible potential waiting to be unlocked. He’s a big, energetic boy who doesn’t yet understand his size and strength, especially when showing his affection. But with proper guidance and training, he can learn the right ways to interact and become a lovely companion. Dobermans are known for being loyal, quirky dogs that bring lots of personality to the table!
Health and Care
Buko is in great health – neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines. His physical needs are well taken care of, and now it’s time to focus on his behavioral and emotional growth.
