At Off Leash K9 Training Missoula, we’re dedicated to finding forever homes for our wonderful dogs, and each month we shine a spotlight on one special pup who is ready to bring joy and love to their new family from local shelter, Bitter Root Humane Association. This June, we’re excited to introduce you to Ace, an 8-year-old lab mix with the heart and energy of a puppy!
Meet Ace: The Energetic Sweetheart
Ace may be 8 years old, but don’t let his age fool you—this lively boy acts like he’s only 2! With boundless energy and a playful spirit, Ace is always ready for his next adventure. He’s affectionate, athletic, and has a great sense of humor, making him the perfect companion for an active person or family.
A Smart and Friendly Boy
Ace is a friendly fella who loves making new friends, both human and canine. Once he’s had the chance to introduce himself, he’s quick to offer kisses and snuggles. Our amazing volunteers have been working with him on his obedience training, and while he’s already house trained, he could benefit from a bit more guidance with obedience training to perfect his manners.
The Perfect Adventure Buddy
If you’re looking for a walking, running, hiking, or biking buddy, Ace is the dog for you! He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can burn off some of his endless energy. However, homes with cats and small critters might not be the best fit for this enthusiastic pup.
