Meet Rufus, a spirited and lovable canine companion, is no exception. Over the past two weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Rufus and helping him hone his skills. Let’s take a moment to showcase what makes Rufus truly one-of-a-kind.

Quirks That Steal Our Hearts

Rufus has a signature move that never fails to make his humans smile: laying on his back, paws in the air, holding his toys like a champion. It’s as if he’s presenting his treasures to the world—and we can’t help but admire his paw-eye coordination!

A Tom Cruise Doppelgänger?

According to his owner, Leah, Rufus is the canine equivalent of Tom Cruise. While we haven’t spotted him piloting jets or scaling skyscrapers (yet), his charisma and energy could give the Hollywood star a run for his money.

Rufus’ Dream Day

If Rufus had his way, every day would be filled with unlimited snuggles and licks from his beloved humans. Add to that some outdoor adventures—like chasing deer without restrictions—and he’s living his best life. Of course, no perfect day would be complete without a few rounds of hide-and-seek and endless games of fetch.

The Funniest Rufus Moment

Rufus once found himself the star of an unintentional comedy sketch when he chose a 6-foot-long stick for a game of fetch. As he enthusiastically brought it back, his humans dodged and ducked in sheer panic, turning what should’ve been a simple game into a high-stakes chase. Who knew fetch could double as an action movie scene?

Rufus, the Hall Monitor

If Rufus were to step into the working world, he’d make an excellent hall monitor. His watchful nature and innate sense of responsibility make him the perfect candidate to keep things in order—though we suspect he’d enforce the rules with a big, goofy grin.

Can’t Resist the Cheddar

Rufus’ guilty pleasure? Cheddar cheese. Whether as a training treat or a surprise snack, it’s the one thing he simply can’t resist.

Rufus has successfully completed our two-week board and train program, and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress. He’s a natural star, both in training and in life, and we’re excited to see how his skills continue to shine at home.
